Nissan Magnite recently achieved the milestone of 1 million bookings and the delivery of 50,000. To commemorate the milestone, Nissan India has announced the launch of a new version of Magnite that is called Magnite Red Edition.
It’s based on the XV trim and will come in three variants: Magnite XV MMT Red Edition Magnite Turbo XV MT Red Edition, and Magnite Turbo XV CVT RED Edition. Magnite Red will provide more options for buyers to look at.
This new shade will officially launch on the 18th of July. Before that, reservations were opened. The trim comes with plenty of bells and whistles that are not available in that the trim XL. These include both external and interior accessories.
Nissan Magnite Red Edition
Beginning with its exterior starting with its exterior, the Magnite Red Version is a Japanese subcompact crossover equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels with a diamond-cut which is not present on the XL versions. It also gets silver-coloured side cladding for the door.
It also gets stunning aesthetics, such as an accent of red that protects the grille in front, the front bumper cladding, the wheel arch, and the body side cladding. Some major design changes include striking body images, a tail-door garnish, a LED Scuff plate and an imposing RED Edition-specific badge.
Inside the SUV comes with an armrest for the rear of the seat with cup holders, a 60:40 split seat with height adjustment for the driver and front-seat back pockets, and ISOFIX mounts that are added that are not available in that of XL trim.
The RED version has also been updated with advanced technological features to satisfy the demands of modern buyers, such as wireless charging and ambient lighting for moods.
Nissan Magnite Red edition is built on the popular XV version and, as such, includes a number of the best features in the market, including an 8.0 touchscreen with WiFi connection, 7.0 fully TFT instruments cluster and LED DRLs. It also comes with Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels R16 and other features.

Powertrain Options
Magnite has two engine options for petrol- a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre unit and a 1.0-litre turbocharged model. The first produces the equivalent of 71 bhp and the peak of 96 Nm. While the latter produces 100 bhp and 160 Nm (152 Nm in the AT) of maximum torque.
The naturally aspirated version comes with only a five-speed manual gearbox, while the turbocharged model is available with either a manual 5-speed or CVT automated gearbox. Other important features comprise the 8.0 touchscreen with WiFi connectivity.
